Dorado season in San Pedro, can´t start better. Even we spend 2 of the most windy fishing days I´ve ever guided in San Pedro area, the fishing was good. Bob, from Louisiana, USA have the chance to hook more than 20 Dorado. Even he land 6, the fish activity was great.

Hi Daniel, The trip was really great and the Los Laureles Lodge was a perfect counterpoint to the Pirá Lodge. It is hard to compare the two. Obviously the Pira is a single purpose fishing lodge with a myriad of fascinating animals and birds (we even saw Marsh Deer). They do a wonderful job of taking care of their guests. But the Los Laureles Lodge has an elegant, but comfortable ambience that somehow makes you feel totally at home and at rest. One can walk (hike), wing shoot, ride horseback, sit on the veranda and enjoy the view across the valley, or fish. It is more of a family oriented environment. Dave and I were totally blown away by the care that had been taken in building and appointing the Lodge. Of course the staff is something that cannot be matched. Rose Marie has been there 20 years and loves her boss. Aldo is a great guy and well fitted to be the Manager. Everyone there clearly loves their job, they are not there just for a season. The owner’s care and concern for his employees shows through them. I attached a few pictures. It rained very heavily and the wind blew a lot during our time there and that is one of the reasons I did not get a lot of pictures. Dave and I got a dozen fish total each of 2 days. I want to thank you again for lining us up with the Los Laureles. There could not have been a better choice. It is on my highly recommended list of places to go."

Abby Azzen together with his family and friends, were hunting in Los Laureles during the first week of July. Even the weather was cold (freezing...), the hunt was excellent. Plenty of Dove, very good duck and perdiz. Thanks to Nabil, George, Bisher, Zair, Mustafa and Abby for the good time enjoyed together.

Brad Boyajian is back! After hunting in La Sistina Lodge a couple of years ago, now Brad decide to return together with his kids: Tanner, Hunter and Chase. And they do it very well. Lost of duck, dove and perdiz. And as you can see in Brad´s picture: Dorado fishing! Well done. Together with them Jorge, Baird and Derek from Florida, spent a great time. Doveshooting fanatics. Great hunters.

Dear friends, a new group visit us for a bird shooting trip. And... things can´t be better. Lot of Duck, Dove and Perdiz. The hunt this 2011 season is superb. Joe, Tim, Scott, Waly, Wes, Mike and Carter hunt with us this year for a first time, and Levon, Eric and Dick KK come and come every year. We have a great time together, lot of fun, good food and drinks. Hope to see all of you soon.

Young hunters! Big success. Congratulaitons to Alisha and Nick wright, and to Bart Tyalor, Mike Walter and Tyler Light. They spent a full week hunting for different trophies and the results can´t be better: very nice red stag, blackbuck antelope, axis deer, fallow deer and muflon.
La Pampa confirm is still the heart of the big game hunt in Argentina.

Alan Willys and his friends were so excited about going Dorado fishing, even they only have half day available the decide to go out. The results can´t be better: 15 Dorado and more than 25 strikes in only 3-hour fishing. NY guys are lucky guys!!!

SCI SHOW, Reno 2011
January 30th, 2011.

This year we took part of the 2011 edition of the SCI Show at Reno, USA. It was great!!! We´ve spent a good time togehter with many American friends and with Nico Catena, Mapu Lodge owner. The donation was bougth by one of the directors of the Florida chapter of the SCI. He will come on 2012 to visit us.

Also, we are proud to announce that Rick Kennerknecht, owner of Global Sporting Safaris recieve the recoganize of SCI becuase of his two 1st SCI list trophies on the crossbow at Chischaca Lodge. A Four Horned Ram and a Red Stag, as we mention both with crossbow hunted on April 2010. In the picture below, you will see Rick, Federico Clausen (Chischaca Lodge manager) and me... with the SCI prize. Well done Rick!!!

Went out fishing with this great groups of scotish friends: Roderick Mackay, Alistair Proudfoot, Robert Campbell, Rueben Hook and Robert Fraser. Even the weather conditions were not good the day before, the fishing was good. More than 20 Dorado, with 5 rods. Well done guys!
