"We all found that our visit to Los Laureles Lodge in
February was one of the best shooting experiences ever.
To complement the incredible numbers of dove available
was the careful organisation of each outing so that there
was always good variety in terms of direction, speed and
difficulty. Adding further variety was the night spent
at San Javier for the two duck drives, and the afternoon
pigeon shoot with decoys. But Los Laureles is no ordinary
shooting Lodge. Its superb comfort and amazing cuisine
- and alternative activities available for non-shooting
guests - ensured that even our very demanding ladies enjoyed
themselves almost more than we did ourselves. Thank you
Pablo and Daniel for setting this up - and to Aldo for
managing such an efficient operation."

Estimado Pablo: llegué muy bien a México, aunque dejando
Argentina con gran pena. Tengo que agradecerte todas tus
atenciones y la buena organización del viaje. Conocer
la Pampa y a sus gentes fue verdaderamente extraordinario.
Los guías, a parte de buenas personas y personajes únicos
eran estupendos cazadores. El poder hacer una cacería
en esa zona, resultó más que interesante. La comida y
las personas que ayudaban en casa también merecen una
mención especial. Lo único que lamento es que de ahora
en adelante cualquier asado que pruebe tendrá que medirse
ante los que preparaste allá! Fue un placer también conocer
al señor Catena y su hijo, verdaderamente hospitalarios.
Además tuvo la gentileza de invitarme a cenar en Buenos
Aires y de enseñarme el hotel que está construyendo. Pablo
de nuevo gracias, y apártame un lugarcito para el ciervo
rojo en 2009!! Un abrazo.

The day outing to San Pedro for golden dorado was an adventure.
Although water conditions made fishing difficult, we pressed
on until fish were found. There were many misses but we
did land some including one beauty caught from shore.
Daniel's careful attention to detail, and his extensive
knowledge of this fishery made the difference. Dorado
require a specialized approach for consistent success,
and if you are prepared to listen and have an open mind
he will ensure that you learn the fine points. In his
role as guide he takes his responsibility very seriously
and will do his best to adapt to Mother Nature's whims
and create a satisfactory experience.

We are a group of 6 English friends who travel the world
to fish in some of the most exciting destinations there
are, whether they are saltwater or freshwater. We have
experienceda lot of different fishing organisations over
the years and I have to say that Laguna Larga Lodge was
a good cut above the average. He joined our host and owner
at the lodge A. Stewart and helped to make us very welcome
and to put us into the fish at every opportunity. If you
want to get into full finned wild brown and rainbow trout
in some stunning scenery then this is the location to
do it in. Combined with the comfort of a wonderful lodge
providing truly gourmet cuisine I can think of no better
place to be!!

Just a note to say "thanks!" We had a wonderful time -
great hotel, perfect weather, and great fishing. Never
have had a guide before, and must say it's something a
guy could get used to! All Oscar's staff were excellent
- I would have to say Alex stood out, but both Julian
and Francisco were extremely dedicated and helpful. When
teaching someone, as with my son, I did tell Alex I thought
command of English was especially important, whereas if
you were dealing with an experienced fly-fisher, then
rudimentary English was fine. Hence, with my son being
a rank beginner (and I not having been exposed to fly
fishing for > 20 years), Alex was perfect. Again, my thanks
to you and Oscar for setting this all up. I don't have
that many "fisher-friends", but I would recommend you
to any of them.

I am finally sitting down to my computer to thank you
for planning such an excellent trip for our family. We
had the BEST time. Everyone loved the dove shooting (where
12 is the limit in the US, and my youngest shot 300+ @
Los Laureles!!). We all especially loved Challhaquen where
all the staff went out of their way to show us the beauty
of Patagonia. (We loved the all-day trip to the National
Forest to do the float trip). Thank you again for all

We had a GREAT time bird shooting at the lodge outside
of Sante Fe. The diversity and abundance of birds was
extremely impressive. It has to be the best in the world...and
this is someone speaking who owns ranches in Montana and
South Dakota. We will definately be back next year and

of our fishing trip to San Pedro. It was truly a highlight
of our trip to Argentina. Not only your professional fishing
guidance and knowledge but also your gastronomic skills

there will be a possibility to return to Argentina in
the not too distant future - I have talked to some friends
about a flyfishing trip to Patagonia. I think that would

down in Bariloche - we had a great time down there and

part of my trip on Rio Gallegos was fine. I caught a very
goog number of sea run trouts an resident trouts. The
biggest sea run was 7,5 kilos! I would like to thank you
once again for a very nice fishing trip to San Pedro.

We thoroughly enjoyed our duck hunting trip to Argentina...and
will be back, hopefully very soon. I also intend to travel
again to Argentina in January 2006 for one of your fishing
packages. Andres and his assistants, Mauricio and Martin,
were at all times freindly and very professional. They
all worked hard to ensure that the hunt went well. We
also found the accomodations and the meals, especially
the tradional barbeque prepared on our behalf on Saturday,
to be first class. Finally, the number of game birds,
especially waterfowl, were almost unbelievable. Please
